Great Premiere: Recap Seriencamp!

First Seriencamp Conference in Cologne with strong ifs participation

The "Series Camp" with festival and conference took place in Cologne for the first time this year and was a complete success. From 13 to 17 June, an impressive selection of international series, including numerous German and world premieres, was shown - accompanied by numerous panels and workshops with top-class series creators and experts.

The ifs was also involved in numerous events:

On June 15, the third Think Tank of the European Showrunner Programme of ifs took place in the context of the Seriencamp Conference – on the topic »Showrunning in Europe – Directing in the Showrunner Model« at the Cinenova cinema. Kaat Beels, Nathalie Basteyns, Lutz Heineking and Annetta Laufer discussed the differences between the position of directing in the showrunner model and the traditional role of directing, moderated by Adrian Spring.

At the Master's Pitch 2023 of the MA Serial Storytelling on the same day, the graduates presented their master's projects as well as selected series projects that were jointly developed as part of the Writers' Lab project in cooperation with Paramount+. (see news article)

On June 16, ifs-CEO Nadja Radojevic was speaker at the workshop »Crewliebe«, which was dedicated to the criteria of a fair production guide.
On the same day, ifs Prof. Joachim Friedmann was speaker together with Orkun Ertener and Eva-Maria Fahmüller at the panel »Storyworlds: The World as Story« of the Screenwriters Lounge at the btf bildundtonfabrik.
