The jury of the 59th Grimme Prize has made its decision. We are thrilled for the Netflix series »KLEO«, which won an award in the FIKTION competition. ifs Professor Rolf Mütze (Lavalabs) was responsible for the visual effects, along with numerous ifs alumni and students: Alumnus Matthias Backmann: Compositing Supervisor; alumnus Timo Stampa: CG Supervisor; alumnus Nils Nissing: 3D Artist; alumnus Robin Pfister: 3D Artist; student David Seul: 3D Artist; alumnus Christian Heynert: Compositing Artist; alumnus Zoltan Geller: Colorist; alumnus Jan Pfitzner: DI Supervisor). Congratulations to the entire team!
A total of 16 Grimme Awards and three special prizes were presented on 21 April, 2023, at the Marler Theater.
