Networked! At three networking events during the berlinale the ifs offered a space for exchanges: highlight was the first "European Showrunner Network"-meeting of the European Showrunner Program of the ifs, which provided extensive opportunities for meeting high-quality showrunners.

The event "Series Mixer" took place at Café Lebensart and brought together students and alumni of the Ma Serial Storytelling as well as several other german and international based study programs: Midpoint Series from Prague, Series Producing from Filmakamedie Baden-Württemberg, Winterclass Serie of Filmuniversität Babelsberg, and Serial Eyes of Film- and Television Academy Berlin. At the annual alumni meeting of the ifs, graduates had the chance to meet and exchange ideas - this time around also with members of the Mediengründerzentrum NRW.
