LOGLINE
He's Germany's most average superhero. He's Gen Z's wokest intern. Together, they are the last thing Gotha Stadt needs and exactly what it deserves. Tradition and cancel culture must go head-to-head – in socks and sandals – when the question arises: what does it actually mean to be German?
SYNOPSIS
Peter Müller, a meticulous civil servant, lives in Gotha Stadt, Germany's most German city. Ever since he cut himself on paper while filing files and became the superhero “Alman Mann”, he has been fighting crime in his area of responsibility – after work, of course. Equipped with an unshakeable sense of order, laws and the towel of justice, he fights against parking offenders, off-leash dogs and super villains.
His well-ordered life is thrown off kilter when he is assigned BRD Boy – a young, idealistic Gen Z superhero trainee who wants to make the world a better place with digital tools, progressive ideas and gendering. Reluctantly, they form a team that couldn't be more different.
Together they face bizarre opponents such as the Reichsbürger, TikToxic or the Oktoberfestler, who wants to turn Gotha City into an eternal Oktoberfest with his “Bavaria Bummser” cannon.
The series combines humorous superhero action with a satirical look at German identity, bureaucracy and the generation gap. It shows that true strength lies in cooperation and that the question “What is German?” has many answers.
