One dark night, an escape attempt from the GDR across the Baltic Sea fails horribly.

A little girl is left abandoned and traumatized. These are the fragments of memory that torment Dana. A trip to her hometown brings back the disturbing images and raises long-repressed questions. Disturbing nightmares drive the young woman into a restless search for her father, whom she has not seen since the terrible events.
