In hope of a moment of human closeness and in rebellion against his own situation, the Catholic village priest Andreas engages in an encounter with a woman. However, no matter how far he goes and which boundaries he crosses within his roles, it is not possible for him to establish a connection that goes beyond mere physical attraction.
