Born 1977 in Trier. 1997 to 2000 training as a media designer for image and sound with a focus on editing. 2001 to 2002 Further education programme "Film Montage" at the ifs internationale filmschule köln. 2006 I discovered my enthusiasm for documentary film and direct cinema during a retrospective of the Maysles brothers. 2007 to 2008 Postgraduate Diploma in "Documentary Filmmaking" at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne, Australia. From 2008 editing all kinds of non-fictional formats for television, editing documentary short films on the side.
2015 Bild-Kunst documentary editing award for "Am Kölnberg". Since then, editor for feature-length documentaries.
