In production design I have found the wonderful possibility to develop worlds around characters and stories, to shape them and to design them rich in detail. I am particularly fascinated by using the scene design as a dramaturgical means of expression, so that it not only creates the action space of the story, but at the same time, through its design concept, carries the emotional worlds of the characters and the atmospheres of the scenes to the outside and makes them tangible. This allows a deeper access to the characters and the story on an associative, subconscious level. I want to make films that take the audience on a journey into unknown worlds and make them think in a lasting way.
