She began her career in TV in 1988 at RTL as a producer and head of department, first for entertainment, later in sitcom/comedy. She was responsible for a total of more than 30 entertainment formats, including "Tutti Frutti", "Die Mini Playbackshow", "Die Traumhochzeit" and various game shows. Since 1996 she has worked as Deputy Managing Director and Head of Creative Affairs at the production company Columbia TriStar Film und Fernseh Produktion (later Sony Pictures Film und Fernseh Produktion). During this time, she was responsible as a producer in the sitcom/comedy sector for, among others, the formats "Rita's World" and "Nikola", which set the style for the German market and for which she also received the Grimme Award. She has been managing director of ITV Studios Germany since 2014.
