Christina Øster is an award-winning Danish screenwriter and an alumna of SUPER16, Denmark’s leading independent film school. She is one of the creators of the critically acclaimed TV series »Hooligan«, which won the top prize in the short fiction category at the Danish TV Awards. Produced by Drive Studios for DR, the drama centres on a young football talent drawn into a hooligan brotherhood bound by loyalty, friendship, and violence. Praised for its authenticity and emotional depth, the series portrays its characters with tenderness and psychological complexity and was broadcast across Scandinavia. Christina has also been part of writers’ rooms for projects developed for Netflix, TV 2, Nordisk Film, and DR.
