I've always wanted to work in a field where I regularly venture into new territory and create something new. That's why I feel perfectly at home in the film world. I see filmmaking as a privilege to be able to devote myself to new visions again and again. I want to turn these visions into films that are meant for the audience without being fast food. They should break down the barrier between art and entertainment that is still drawn in Germany. I want the whole palette for the audience: Depth and entertainment, story- and character-driven, classic and modern narrative styles. Because today it's all about good combinations that can give the audience new and extraordinary experiences.
