JULIANE BÜRCKEL, born in Schwerin in 2003. After graduating from high school in 2021, she worked in the social sector for a few months, then began studying educational science in Hagen. She completed several internships in the theatre field. Started making and writing her own music early on and released her own albums and EPs since 2021. After years of amateur experience on stage (in improv and theatre groups), she found her way backstage. At the Mecklenburg State Theatre in Schwerin, she started as an intern in the music theatre division, then worked as an assistant director for director Paul-Georg Dittrich. She accompanied and directed rehearsals and performances organisationally, artistically and technically. She has been writing and realising her own film projects since the age of fourteen. Studying at the ifs since 2023.
