Vita
KLEBER VALIM, born in Brazil, studied food "Science/Engineering" at the Universidade Federal de Vicosa (UFV). Alongside his studies, he performed in an amateur theatre group at the university. After three years of study, he transferred to the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) to study "Performing Arts/Bachelor of Drama". During and after his acting studies, he worked in and outside Brazil with various actors and directors, such as Tonni Cots (Odin Theatret Denmark) or Yoshi Oida and Tapa Sudana (CIRT Peter Brook). After his acting studies, he studied for a Master's degree in "Theatre Directing & Acting" at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Kleber travelled around the world with the "Teatro da Vertigem Company" and came to Cologne in 2002 as part of the "Theatre of the World Festival". He stayed in Germany on a scholarship from the Goethe-Institut and has lived in Cologne ever since. Kleber took part in "Professional Actor Training" at the William Esper Studio in New York, where he studied the "Meisner Technique" with Bill Esper.
Kleber Valilm completed his master's degree in "Film" at the ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln in autumn 2025.
