I owe my fascination for creative work to Peter Strassner, a Slovak sculptor with whom I spent every summer of my childhood working with ceramics and wood. With him I got to know a representative of Slavic fine art who maintained a serious attitude to his work and at the same time understood his art as a craft. Strassner's circle of acquaintances, who shared his studio in Devin, also included photographers and filmmakers, through whom I discovered my love of image composition. The making of a film is a complex process. The constantly changing circumstances demand a permanent redefinition of one's own work. I cope well with this and in return I receive something precious: I experience something of the world. Already during my studies I was able to shoot in various countries, including Pakistan, and learned a lot about people and societies.
