MARCEL REITER was born in 1998 in the district of Oberberg. After an early interest in music, design, photography and film, he decided to study cinematography at ifs in 2019. During the four years he developed himself in different genres like dramedy, surrealism, music videos and horror. PHANTASMAGORIA, for which he was responsible for the camera, screened at the CamerImage Festival in Poland, among other festivals. In 2023, he completed his bachelor's degree as Director of Photography of the Film & Media Foundation-funded graduation film DANN LIEBER STERBEN. In addition to his work on fiction projects, he focuses on music videos, musical shorts and experimental approaches to storytelling.
