MIKA KOPISCHKE was born 2003 in Cologne, grew up in Klettenberg and Sülz. Already young strong involvement with photo post-processing and animation, quickly shifting the focus to video montage and editing, initially in the YouTube area. Music recording and audio editing experience in home studio. Since late 2019, some music videos and occasional short film edits for indie collective(s). Regularly employed as a freelance editor for short features at WDR since the age of 17. Finished school with Abitur in 2020 and then studied economics for two semesters at the University of Cologne. After a hard awakening, made the decision to turn his interest into a career. Applied to ifs with subsequent change of studies. Studying at the ifs since 2021.
