MORITZ MARQUARDT Born in Steinfurt Borghorst in 2000 and grew up in Ockenheim near Mainz and in São Paulo, Brazil. First contact with filming while documenting stays abroad and travelling. Developed a passion for image design through the work of Cliqua, Medet Shayakhmetov and Anton Tammi, among others. Worked as a freelancer in directing, cinematography and editing during school, producing numerous music videos, fashion commercials and other promotional clips. After graduating from high school in 2020 in Mainz, worked as an intern at a film production company in Munich to gain further practical experience in the field of image and sound recording. Subsequently worked as a permanent DP and editor on commercials for numerous well-known companies and on an Amazon Prime documentary. Studying at the ifs since 2021.
