Vita
Dr. Melanie Andernach studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and the Université Paris II Panthéon Assas. In 2002, she received her doctorate from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and the Université Paris II Panthéon Assas on the subject of copyright law. In the same year, she began her studies in creative production at the ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005. In the same year, she began her studies in in Creative Producing of the BA Film programme at the ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005. Together with Knut Losen, she founded MADE IN GERMANY Filmproduktion in 2007. MADE IN GERMANY develops and (co-)produces high-quality documentaries and feature films for German, European, and international audiences. In addition to numerous teaching activities, she took on the position of substitute professor in 2019, focusing on television dramaturgy/creative television production at the KHM Cologne. Melanie Andernach is a member of the German and European Film Academy, EAVE, EuroDoc, and ACE Producers.
