SIMON ALTHAUS was born and raised in Ibbenbüren. After graduating from high school, he studied film studies and sociology at JGU Mainz, including a semester abroad in Valencia. During his studies, he gained his first experience in short film production. In 2020, he moved to Munich to work on the set of Sturm der Liebe. This was followed by a two-year traineeship as a production manager at ZDF, NDR, and WDR in Mainz, Hamburg, and Cologne. Since 2023, he has been working as a production coordinator for public and private sports and entertainment productions. Studying at ifs since 2025.
