From the very beginning, he has been responsible for the hit format "Kitchen Impossible", which has won several German Television Awards and been nominated for the Grimme Prize, the cookery battle format "Ready to Beef" and the branded entertainment series "Wine Chefs". Sven Steffensmeier studied journalism with a focus on TV format development at the WWU Münster and started at ProSieben in 1998 in the editorial department Galileo. In 2003 he moved to Endemol Shine Germany (ESG). During his time at ESG, he was a member of the International Creative Team at Endemol UK, Executive Producer & Deputy Head of Quiz & Entertainment as well as Executive Producer Comedy & Light Entertainment and produced formats such as "Rette die Million!", "Unschlagbar", "Null Gewinnt", "Deal or No Deal" and many more.
