Taç Romey was born in the USA, lived in Turkey, the USA, the Netherlands and Germany. In the USA he studied acting, directing and dramaturgy and graduated from the renowned Brown University. He is an independent author, professor, producer and managing director of Phantomfilm GmbH. He is also on the Advisory Board of the Berlin TV Series Festival and a jury member of the Blue Panther. Since 2016, Taç has been a professor of serial storytelling at the HFF Munich. His projects have received many nominations and awards, including the International Emmy, Golden Magnolia, Rose D'or, the German Television Award.
