Thomas Rogel was already involved in over 78 episodes of the Harald Schmidt Show between 1999 and 2001 as a permanent outside writer. After that, he wrote sketches for the comedy shows "Die dreisten Drei" (2007), "Switch: Reloaded" (2006-2008) and "Die Wiwaldi Show" (2011-2013), among others. He has also been a permanent member of the "heute Show" writing team since 2010. For the planned Ruhrpott cinema film "Kowalski" Thomas Rogel is active as a scriptwriter.
 
In addition, Thomas Rogel founded his company Rogel.tv in 2008, through which he also works as a concept developer, consultant and coach in the comedy field. In addition, as a trained educator, he is involved in training and continuing education in the comedy field (with the Grimme Academy, among others).
