Stimulating conversations during the Berlinale

At today's "Series Wrap" Berlinale Series Director Julia Fidel talked with guests about the series selection for the Berlinale 2023, current trends and the most interesting German series developments - Anna Maria Böhm (MA Serial Storytelling student) was among them.
At the "Screenwriters Lounge" - the meeting point for screenwriters during the Berlinale - Carolin Große Hellmann (ifs-Head of Serial Storytelling / European Showrunner Programme) and Julie Skaufel (graduate, screenwriter & showrunner) presented the European Showrunner Programme of the ifs and reflected together with lecturer, writer and showrunner Marianne Wendt on the current situation for showrunners in the European series market. Fitore Muzaqi (student MA Serial Storytelling) was a guest of the "Netflix Writing Academy: People of Color Writers Incubator" about the demand on the German market. Marvin Meiendresch (MA Serial Storytelling student) moderated a panel on the Brazilian short film in the competition "The Beads" as part of the "Screenwriters Lounge".
Leonard Grobien (BA Screenwriting student) and Christian Zipfel (BA Directing graduate) discussed the topic "Struktureller Ableismus? Wenn Filmschaffende mit Behinderung nicht versichert werden …" at the invitation of the "Netzwerk Inklusion" of ProQuoteFilm, the film team of "Was wir wollen", Crew United and the initiative "Cast Me In" of casting-network.
