Showrunner Scott Frank and production designer and ifs professor Uli Hanisch gave us a great insight into their successful collaboration – in an »ifs Encounter« online about the Netflix series »The Queen’s Gambit«. In the talk with moderator Elina Gakou-Gomba (series writer and ifs alumna), one of the topics was the importance of the production design for the authentic characterization of the main character Beth – and how successful cooperation between the trades contributes to this.
