Thorsten Sabel is currently at the ifs to introduce students to the versatile set design standard tool "SketchUp". In the exercise, students are taught the basic functions of the 3D computer program and then work on typical set design tasks, such as building rooms digitally and anticipating and showing designs. Thorsten Sabel was most recently the set designer for the thriller "Inside" (director: Vasilis Katsoupis) starring Willem Dafoe, which will celebrate its world premiere at the upcoming Berlinale. For this he designed an impressive penthouse and had it built at MMC Studios. Thanks for your visit, Thorsten!
