LOGLINE
Hagar Mualem, a homicide detective, has ten days to discover the identity of a serial killer in one building in central Tel Aviv that is under "military occupation”, while senior military officials try to thwart her by suppressing a dark secret that endangers them.

SYNOPSIS

For four years, police detective Hagar Mualem has been chasing “the executioner”, an elusive serial killer who has been terrorising Israel. With all leads exhausted, Hagar must follow her instincts to catch the killer before it's too late.

When the executioner strikes again, Hagar realises he must be a resident of the high-rise building where the last killing occurred. Even though the killer seems to be closer than ever, the police, including Hagar’s direct commander and confidant Avner, are about to give up. In order to catch the killer, Hagar faces a life-changing decision between love and logic.

She decides to betray Avner, listen to her heart, and turn to her lover, the powerful Central Command General Dotan. Together they lock down the building and place it under military law. Her not-so-loyal partner at the military police, Elmalich, takes justice into his own hands and tries to find the killer first. Meanwhile, the building’s tenants rebel against the military presence, and another victim is claimed.

With her lover implicated in a larger conspiracy and her partner out for blood, Hagar must navigate treacherous waters to uncover the truth. She has only ten days left to solve the case and catch the killer, so her every move is a matter of life and death. Hagar eventually uncovers the killer's identity and in a desperate bid to see justice served decides to team up with the executioner, setting the stage for a final showdown with Dotan and the military establishment.
