88-year-old Ilse tries to manage her everyday life at home in her apartment in Stuttgart-Botnang.

Her daughter and son-in-law are a great help to her, because they meet with her almost every day, go shopping with her and clean her apartment.
Even though Ilse is still spry so far, you can see her age. But despite her physical weaknesses, she has an incredibly warm and life-affirming, cheerful manner.
