In my spare time I work as a VJ. "Dancing with images", as I like to call it. Here I play intuitively with simple shapes, colors, contrasts, rhythms and movements. Large-scale projections allow me to add my interpretation to the music. My regular exercise to transform emotions into simple images. A flow of sensations without direct action. A deliberate contrast to my work in documentary film, where I pick out from an overflow of information just the ones that tell the story. This tension is where my interest in filmmaking lies. Between the representation of human perception and the testing of expressive forms. What visual language does film need? For me, the most exciting question in any project.
