CHRIS HARTUNG, born in Bielefeld in 2000 and grew up there. Great passion for surfing, nature and the human experience. Found his way to film through skateboarding and travelling at a young age. After graduating from high school in 2018, self-employment as a filmmaker in commercial film production as well as various camera jobs in agencies and start-ups. 2019 Camera assistant on football documentary in the US. In 2020, shot the travel film "FACING DOWN UNDER" on his own initiative during a stay abroad, followed by theatrical release in 2022. Studying at the ifs since 2023.
