CIARA BORGARDS was born in 2000 in Mexico City, moved to Siegburg, Germany at the age of 9. Started playing theater and piano at an early age, doing athletics and making short films, successfully doing athletics on the side. In 2017, a prize winner at the state film festival of the Federal Association of German Film Authors (BDFA). In the same year, won the school theater prize "Kobold" of the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg region. Graduated from school in 2018 and worked on the web series "Rein in den Verein" for the Diepholz district in the summer. Then completed an internship at RedSeven (ProSieben/Sat. 1). Studied media and music sciences at the university in Bonn for one semester, continued to work as a student trainee at RedSeven. Since 2019 studying VFX & Animation at the ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln, graduating in 2023.
