CLARA LOUISE HAAS was born in 1997 and grew up in Dresden. Started making her own films at the age of 12. 2013/14 year abroad in Cipolletti, Argentina. After graduating from high school in 2016 spent several months in France, India and Japan. Since 2017 lived and worked in Berlin. Started with directing internship at Bavaria, then as 2nd assistant director, extras caster at Filmgesichter and production assistant, then most recently post producer at Zauberberg Productions. Edited social media project for Mercedes x Alicia Keys with Cheryl Dunn, among others. Directed and edited social media content for Erste Bank, Vivo, Albert Schweitzer and Kinderdörfer. Written and directed six of her own freelance short films since 2018 - »Heiße Luft« was nominated 6 times, officially selected 5 times. Logged in the Writersroom of »WIR« season 4, dramaturgy on P14 play »Attack on Poyritz« at Volksbühne Berlin, worked as freelance editor for documentaries, commercials andart films. Studying at the ifs since 2023.
