In ‘Dienst nach Vorschrift’, an animal testing laboratory moves, Andrea moves with her, Ernst has resigned, but who will look after 12-17-B?
Ernst and Andrea are putting away moving boxes in an animal testing laboratory that has fallen out of time. This is their last day at work together, because Ernst has been fired, but Andrea is staying with the company. They try to make light of it, as always Andrea tries to set the tone, because no matter how Ernst does his thing, he does it wrong. When a forgotten mouse finally turns up in the lab, an argument ensues, initially about the morality of killing the mouse, but soon the crux of the discussion emerges. Why didn't Andrea stand up for Ernst's position as lab assistant? With power comes responsibility and sometimes doing nothing is doing something.
