Vita

Growing up in one of the most beautiful places in the world in the Austrian mountains, she spent her childhood and youth mainly pursuing her passion for sports - skiing, hiking and wrestling. It was a photography course at Campolindo High School in California that first gave her the idea of considering a creative career. She returned to Austria, completed her A-levels there and then began her studies in InterMedia at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences.

There she developed an interest in film and made her first ten-minute short film as her final project. She then worked independently - producing, shooting, editing and processing music videos and other smaller projects. She also gained experience as a production assistant at MediaVita Film. She later worked for a local TV station (Ländle TV) as an editor, camerawoman and editor. There she also gained experience in directing and editing live TV programmes. Finally, she realised that the images themselves were the most important thing to her and decided to study cinematography at the International Film School in Cologne.

Always on the lookout for new challenges, she worked on numerous film sets during her studies. Her great passion is lighting, which is why she spends most of her time working as a gaffer or grip on other student films or as a lighting and grip assistant on larger productions.

She has directed short films, music videos and short documentaries and is passionate about stories that bring the nature and fallibility of our humanity to the stage in a sensitive and loving, yet honest way.
