GIOVANNA BOERI VAN DER ZEE, a 24-year-old Dutch-Brazilian writer, has lived in four countries and loves learning about cultures and their diversity. She studied art, culture and media at the University of Groningen, majoring in film and theater. There she was part of the theater company GUTS, where she worked, acted and directed several plays. Giovanna then took a film production course at the Netherlands Film Academy in Amsterdam, where she worked as an assistant on numerous short films. After completing her Master's degree, she plans to pursue a career as a writer and storyteller.
