Ivana grew up in the Ruhr area, spent her summers in the Balkans and discovered her passion for moving images at an early age. Her journey took her from a bachelor's degree in communication design to a copywriting diploma and a master's degree in serial storytelling at the ifs in Cologne. With her series project, she became a top 5 finalist in the RTL+ Storytellers competition in 2024. On »Mord mit Aussicht« she expanded her knowledge of dramaturgy and at WDR in editorial planning and production processes. Her writing focuses on intersectionality and breaking up stereotypical narratives – with an empathetic eye for the different realities of life involved.
