MARLENE SANDMANN born in 2000 in Bergisch Gladbach, grew up in Bedburg. Escaped to the Richard Riemerschmid Berufskolleg in Cologne after ninth grade at the Gymnasium. There she will graduate in 2019 and train as a GTA. Since the age of 12 video and camera assists for her father. Internship at Loft Tonstudios in Hamburg and stay abroad at the graphic design office EAST END PRINTS in London during school. Afterwards six-month internship at 2Pilots Filmproduction as editing assistant and help on set. Self-employed in post production, web design and picture editing since 2018. Moved to Düsseldorf in December 2019 to study media informatics. Realised after three weeks that she wanted to get back into the film industry and therefore applied to the ifs and moved to Cologne. Since July 2020 until today working for a PR agency as a student trainee in video production. Studying at the ifs since 2021.
