The first two Jurassic Park films were regularly shown on Chinese cable TV. Whenever one was on, my father would call me and I would drop everything and run full sprint to the TV. The fascination has not diminished in all these years, on the contrary: my passion for strange worlds and extraordinary stories has become even more intense. The visual creation of the moving image and the manipulation of the real world, both physically and psychologically, is what grabs me. I want to create powerful and impactful images and evoke emotion. And to fascinate, influence and give nightmares to the next generation of young children.
