The feature-length documentary tells the story of the Albanian Landi Cenko, who dedicated his life to isopolyphonic singing.
These have existed almost as long as the mountains on which his hometown of Gjirokaster is built. Through the songs, Landi and the other mountain people tell each other about myths and legends, nature, everyday life, and love. Since the death of his son, Landi has not sung for five years - southern Albanians say that you can only sing with a happy soul. But gradually Landi's soul begins to recover and finally his songs resound again ...
