Molière.Macht.Melatonin – The annoying ones

Alceste wakes up to a techno beat at a festival, surrounded by party-happy, pushy personalities. As if he had time-traveled through an entire century, he fights his way, complete with frilly sleeves and the aid of a stopwatch, through the conversations of the other festival participants, who do not interest him in the slightest, but only annoy him. So he has only one mission: to find his beloved Orphise in time among all the pests, before time runs out.

»Molière.Macht.Melatonin - The Annoying Ones« is a modern interpretation of Molière's comedy, staged and performed by the nö theater ensemble. And what place would not be better for having inappropriate conversations with strangers than a festival ...

The stage was equipped for the play with mushroom-like lamps, a large amount of earth, a festive canopy and an "infinite staircase".

The composition of the brightly shining colors of each element, as well as the mixture of fog and soap bubbles, transform the stage into a circus-like, surreal dream world in which the garishly costumed characters move.
