Hanna is a young student who works in a small Greek taverna where she hangs out with her friends at night.

But Hanna is also, and first and foremost, Ida's mum. The two are a well-oiled team in everyday life - but when Ida starts school, something begins to change. Suddenly Hanna senses a distance between them that she cannot grasp. While she looks for quick solutions to rebalance her everyday life and her relationship with Ida, she realises that her daughter is growing in her own way.
