PHILIP J. MALEWICZ born in 1994 in Remscheid, Germany, to parents of Polish origin. Graduated in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in economics with a focus on marketing and applied statistics. From 2016 to 2018, worked for Campus Television, subsequently taking over as editorial director. Realised journalistic contributions, image films and documentaries during this time. After graduating, worked in marketing, focusing on audiovisual advertising and below-the-line marketing.
Studied Creative Producing at ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln from 2019 until 2023, bringing together his economic skills and his fascination for stories and audiovisual storytelling. Developed the final screenplay "As if for the last time" as part of his final project together with screenwriting student Alessio Federico - with a special focus on affordability, feasibility and usability. He also developed the screenplays for the graduation films "Long Time No See" and "Little Heroes" and realised the latter in his functions as producer and production manager.
