ALEKSANDR KIM Born in 1983 and grew up in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Discovered his passion for storytelling and acting at an early age, including through acting in a theatre club. After graduating from high school, he studied law in Kyrgyzstan. In 2004, he founded the first LGBTQ+ organisation in Central Asia.
During and after his studies, he worked in various fields: he was a presenter of a youth television programme, worked as a PR manager for various companies and ran training courses as a motivational speaker. After completing acting courses at the Gala - Theatre Creative Workshop in Bishkek, he worked there as an actor and director. In 2016, he was accepted to the film school in Moscow - VGIK. However, after a few semesters he had to interrupt his studies due to political circumstances. Moved to Germany in Düsseldorf in 2019. Studying at the ifs since 2021.
