JUSTUS MAUS was born in Cologne in 2000 and grew up there. In elementary school I got in touch with film through a "Trickkiste-AG". Later became aware of VFX through "Video Copilot". Autodidactically learned the program After Effects and implemented it in many private projects, including short films for film competitions and wedding films. While at school, made short films for school homepage, created theater posters and designed high school graduation logos. Participated in several theater festivals with the school. In 2017, interned at Rise FX GmbH, where he acquired basic knowledge of Maya, among other things. Has been playing drums since 2009. 2019 High School Graduation. Since 2019 studying VFX & Animation at ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln, graduating in 2023.
