MARIUS KIMMEL born 1990 near Cologne | 2003-2009 permanent ensemble member at the Junges Theater Bonn | 2011 Work & Travel in Australia | 2014 employment at EiermannTV (as Assistant Producer, 1st Production Manager, Set-Al and more) | 2015-2018 Bachelor of Film / Creative Producing at the ifs | multiple scholarship holder of the VFF Verwertungsgesellschaft der Film- und Fernsehproduzenten | besides his studies various works in the film business, as Producer or Assistant Producer (e.g. for music videos)

My mother is an alt-hippie with business acumen. My father was a street cleaner, somehow worked his way up to an executive position in an international company, and resigned earlier this year to open a café in Bonn with my mother ("Klara's Garten," I recommend the shakshuka). Even if we don't share the passion for film, we share the courage to pursue our passion and not to stagnate in life. I have a desire to always evolve as a person. Both the exchange with special and creative people and the search for and telling of stories is something that fascinates me in film, that drives me and makes me keep learning. As a producer, it is important to me to realize ideas that have a certain social relevance. At the same time, my films don't have to - or shouldn't - have a lecturing effect, but they should be able to focus clearly on something and trigger discussion.
