Hummer

Marvin, a self-proclaimed life coach, is constantly living in fear of the world, of failure. His carefully constructed facade threatens to crack when Berna attends one of his workshops.

Marvin Hummer is in his mid-thirties, attractive, charming. When on stage and making speeches, he feels invincible. People look up to him, applaud him – Marvin is a self-proclaimed life coach who shares solemn words of wisdom with a measly number of spectators – words that he himself doesn't believe in. Because Marvin is constantly living in fear. Fear of the world, of failure. That's why he takes refuge in exuberant motivational speeches, always accompanied by his camera-wielding buddy Schorsch. But Marvin's carefully constructed facade threatens to crack when Berna, dressed in black and completely unimpressed by his words, attends one of his workshops. For she makes him aware of his faults. Completely blindsided by this realization, Marvin gets drunk to forget everything. But finally, he must admit that he has thus plunged himself into disaster.
