»Das Cello« aus dem dritten Semester lief beim Split Film Festival in Kroatien im Kurzfilmwettbewerb und wurde mit dem Grand Prix Award ausgezeichnet als bester Kurzfilm. Die Jury (Dusko Dimitrovski, Sweta Chhabria and Negin Kiafar) urteilt: "The jury has unanimously decided that the best film in category of short film is The Cello. Debutant achievement of the young director Robert Decali, about one.. truly.. complete art realization. Above all, current immigrant problems are telling of personal and collective sides. Exceptionally good work of director and photography with outstanding protagonist, which in his worst hardships, still remains with his instrument, Cello. This film makes all of this worth it."

Der Animationsfilm »Pirouette«, ebenfalls aus dem dritten Semester, hat beim Niederrhein Filmfestival in Wesel eine Special Mention in der Reihe German Competition erhalten. Glückwunsch ans Team!
