A Torino Film Lab alumna, Alkyoni is a Greek writer, director, and script consultant. She has been a lecturer at the IFS since 2019. With a background in theatre, she received her B.A. in Theater Studies with honors from the University of Wales and her M.A. in Theatre Directing from Rose Bruford College in London. She has worked as a director and playwright in Greece and the United States. In 2012, she discovered her passion for film. Shortly after writing and shooting her first short film, she relocated to Germany in 2013, where she pursued further screenwriting studies at the IFS, worked in film production, and her screenplays have won various awards. In a workshop on script consulting with Dr. Linda Seger in 2018 she discovered her talent for guiding writers which has since become a further field of expertise.
