John Altschuler

John Altschuler is a writer, producer and director of live action and animated television and movies. He co-created and executive produced the Emmy Award-winning show »Silicon Valley« and was Executive Producer/Showrunner of the Emmy Award-winning show »King of the Hill«, »Lopez«, and »Beavis and Butthead«. He and his partner Dave Krinsky wrote the hit comedy movie »Blades of Glory« starring Will Ferrell. In addition to several Emmy nominations, they received a SXSW film award for their work on »Silicon Valley«, and have also won an Environmental Media Award.

John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky's first book, »The Gangsters Guide to Sobriety« was recently published by Post Hill and is distributed by Simon & Schuster.  It is currently being developed as a television series with Wild Atlantic Pictures of Ireland.  John has just wrapped production of the movie »Dead Dad Girl« which he and Dave Krinsky produced with Luxembourg based and Academy Award nominee Bernard Michaux.  He has just sold a new series to SKY UK for Jemaine Clement (»What We Do In The Shadows«, »Flight of the Conchords«) and is developing a Tamil based project »Money Mobile« with Nishanth Ramasubramman whose short film »Indian in A Box« has won awards around the world.
