Swedish- Lebanese screenwriter Mona Masri is one of the writers of the Netflix original hit-series “Snabba Cash” and the Venice film festival selection “Copenhagen Cowboy”. Her feature film “Amina” had it’s world premiere at the 2022 Marrakech Film Festival and will have it’s cinema release in 2023.

She worked in journalism for ten years before turning to screenwriting, and she draws on that background to tell richly layered character driven stories with depth and scope.  

She’s currently head writer of two greenlit tv-series which premiere in 2024, both of which are international co-productions. Mona Masri works in both Sweden and Denmark.
