Pavel Sitnikov, 23 years old, was born and raised in Moscow, Russia.  He studied Computer Music in Balakirev’s Art School (graduated in 2015) Studied Sound design in Audiovisual Arts in Russian State University of Filmmaking (VGIK), the oldest film school in the world and graduated in 2022. He worked as a guest coordinator at 26th Window to Europe Film Festival in Vyborg in 2018. Since 2022, he has been working as a sound designer in a post-production studio “Atmosfera” in Moscow, has been the sound designer in over 10 student short-length films and took part in a major films of russian industry. Additionally, he took part in different international film festivals, such as Festival de Cannes and Berlinale Film Festival. In 2019 and 2020 he went as a press envoy at the Berlinale for the online magazine Seasons Project. In 2020, he released solo album, and in 2020 and 2021 released two music videos as a director for the songs on this album. Some of them became soundtracks for web series with millions of views on platforms, commercials and festival films. The MA Digital Narratives is an opportunity for using his experience in sound and film, to explore different formats of storytelling in order to tell important stories for society.
